Piles and Walls

On my walk the other day I decided I needed a subject to shoot. So I chose 2. Piles and Walls. No significance, but I'm sure I can drum something up if anyone needs some.

First pile.

Double wall

Pile and a wall, jackpot!!

Double Wall

This is more of a stack than a pile, but hey..

Cemetary wall

My old Elementary school wall.

I think this is a pile, but its almost a stack

Definately a pile

Afternoon at the park

Went out to Manito Park with my brother his wife Erin and the kids to have a picnic, play on the swings and feed the ducks. Cedric has decided to wear his rubber boots everywhere now, no matter what, even if he can only find one, and its on the wrong foot.

Pretending to be shy.

This is what happens the very first time you ever see someone using a leaf blower.

Zorie pretending not to want her photo taken.

The girls decided they wanted to pose next to the flowers.

Abby posing.

The sod pile.

Dead flowers from the pile.

The new old neighborhood.

I went on a walk around all the old neighborhood to get some excercise, and realised how close everything. Everything used to seem so far away.

Private/kindof public park owned by the new Mormon church down the road.

The Mormon church down the road.

Can't ever resist a big row of flowers.

Fixin' the semi.

This was my friend Scott's house. First place I played nintendo, heard AC/DC and Queensryche, and saw a kickflip landed in real life.

This was Pard's house, he had all the ramps, (as i have graphically displayed) because this used to be a dead end so there was no traffic. Just image 1985-86 and me on a yellow hosoi mini.

This just looked liked a movie set.

Can't ever resist a completely flat beer can, run over so many times and layed to rest in the field, just tragic.

They really don't want anyone in here, the signs seem to work, their lot was person-less.

No smoking

No smoking here either.

Hand painted.

Cats, birds, hail and pigs

I've been up in Spokane, WA for a couple weeks at my parents house. First things first, my parents cat, kiki decided to impress me by running into the house with a full sized bird in his jaws at 9am. Although impressed, i didn't want a bird, either bleeding all over my moms carpet, and/or flying around the house. So I brought the cat back out side, with the bird still proudly in his mouth, he tried to shoot back into the house, but I grabbed him again and he ran out to the garden where he dropped the bird, and waited for it to move around again, so he could bat at it. I thought it was dead.

I picked the bird up cause I didn't want the cat to eat it and get sick, then it started flapping its wings, and coming out of shock.

I took it over to a tree to see if it could survive and the cat was all excited and jumping all over my legs waiting for me to put it back down.

And miraculously it was fine.

this is cedric.

Abby loves to catch bugs, and this one was a goldmine.

A praying mantis. Later she set him free on a bush outside and said, "look uncle aaron, he's waving goodbye"

My mom saved some hail stones in the freezer from the last hails storm.

Hunting season

The male counterpart of the captured mantis.

Cedric again.

Yellow Jacket nest that i had to take out.

Couldn't figure out which shot i liked the best.

Dr. Dre, not very conspicuosly, dropping off some mail at the local post office in his Mirage.

Kiki loves to sleep.

Nothing like a little backlight to make any scene look great, even an old stationwagon and a yard full of pine needles.

More backlight.

Mom's garden.
