Short drive into the past

When I was a kid, I always thought I grew up in the city. Even though we could jump our back fence and have dirt fights in the woods, we could ride our bikes down the street and into the bluff to hike down to the creek to catch gnutes, paintball fights with slingshots, camping above the golfcourse, dirt skiing on sandhills, and last but not least I babysat kids that lived on 10,000 acres who lived about 2 miles away and was destroyed by the 8 year old in a race of miniature snowmobiles. Spokane was the biggest city between Seattle and Minneapolis, so to me, we were in the big city. So I took a drive on the roads that lead to some of my friends old houses, and here are the photos.
