Sacramento News and Review, LA Alternative, and Lo-Fi.

I shot the cover story about Carl Boggs, a political writer out of LA for the Sacramento News and Review and another cover for the LA Alternative about LA teachers who are also in bands and involved in the music scene. Also that week I shot a bunch of belts and these glasses for Lo-Fi.

PACE- prounounced pa-chay, means peace in Italian.

Rainy in New Jersey

Flew out to New Jersey to shoot the Ray Lamontagne Secret show for Myspace. It really was a great show, even though Ray is quite shy about photography. I almost saw a bar fight within 15 minutes of being at my hotel. Ahhh jersey..

Jennifer, Jay, and Doug were Ray's backing band, and took me to dinner.. Awesome.

And back to Spokane

We left Helena and made a B line right to the Cataldo Mission. My Grandma had found some old photos taken possibly by my great grandmother of the mission in the 30's and we dropped by to donate them. Then when we got home all the kids were on there way over for another backyard crazyness fest. right after bbq'd burgers.

Day at the Smith River

We drove for a couple hours on crazy dirt roads to spend the afternoon at my Aunt and Uncle's River Cabin on the Smith River, it was amazing. So amazing that I ended up doing some wierd dance on the shore. We say a sleeping giant, a snake, antelope, a bunch of dear, and a bullet. Oh yeah, and my uncle is building a "tree house" in their backyard.

Then we went and checked out the merry go round had dinner with all the cousins and went back to go swimming at my aunt and uncle's pool, who just installed a 9' tall rock to jump off of next to the diving board.

Travelling to Helena

Michelle and I drove to Montana, to visit with my Aunt, Uncle and Grandma who live in Helenna. We stopped at a river, and the 10,000 silver dollar bar on the way. And yes, you could tell we were tourists because we were the only ones that didn't call the deer, that were everywhere, big, annoying, Montana rodents.

Beginning of a great 10 days-East to West ya just don't stop!! : Boston

Michelle and I just returned from a great 10 day vacation that started in Boston, from there went to Spokane WA, Helena MT, the Smith river back to Spokane, and home. The reason we started in Boston was to go to the wedding of our friends Matt and Libby. It was really an amazing wedding out in these beautiful gardens. A lot of tears and a bunch of beers made for an amazing day..
